Seaguy, Sydney

At Circular Quay

If you've noticed I do a lot of walking, pretty fit myself but it gives me the stamina to move about the city on foot. This time I walked all the way to Circular Quay from Pyrmont, (pretty far) but anywho, it was the first time I've ever seen this man. He basically makes friends with all these birds using french fries (a staple diet among seagulls).

Trumpeter, Sydney

Quite a rare site, you don't see so much soloist trumpeters around Sydney. Hearing a solo trumpeter on the streets is just classy.  (24/05/2011)

At Pitt st.

That Bubble guy, Sydney

at Hyde park

This guy recently appeared out of no where until a couple of days ago, He does his sets up with a bucket full of soapish water, two sticks and some surgical tubes (i've asked him) with that he makes one hell of a big bubble. I asked him what his secret to making the bubbles big, and he says ' enough detergent to clean an elephant '. LOL (23/05/2011)

Chinese violin?, Sydney

At the Intersection of Market and Pitt st.
I always see this elderly gentleman playing a violin sort of instrument but can't really make out what exactly it is. Hes always playing an instrument by pitt street and market street. He has this real ethnic, simple, traditional look.

Classic Guitarist, Sydney

At Pitt Street

One of the most popular attractions and beautiful guitarists is found at Pitt Street dead centre at the busiest walkways of Sydney. With only a classical guitar and a speaker, this guy can drive a massive crowd. He's always playing a tune either differently or beautifully. Last time I heard him, he played 'flight of the bumble bee' on his guitar!?!? total shock! absolutely amazing! The only thing thats concerning are his nails...

Spain Protest, Sydney

at Market st.

On my way to work after passing Darling Harbour, I ran into a political protest on the Government in Spain. They protesting claims that the government wasn't cooperating with the publics choice and opinions. This one woman (definitely a Uni student) spoke out demanding change and democracy towards the Spanish government.

This woman seemed to be the representive or coordinator for the protest as she spoke and directed her protesters on the steps. but i thought the image i captured of her speaking is quite moving.

Balancing act, Sydney

Its great walking around the city on a Sunday afternoon thats when all the street performers come out to play. I decided to do my walk around Darling Harbour, and I've seen quite a few performers but this one was new, at lease I think she was, but she was definitely different. There are a lot of street performers these days who take forever to do their talent act and usually its over kill. But this lady jumped straight into it and start balancing all sorts of things on a unicycle. (21/05/2011)

Meditate-iting, Sydney

at Dixon St., China town
I passed a man demonstrating meditation technique to the public unfortunately he wasn't so fawned of photography but lucky i took a shot before he told me to go. (05/17/2011)

Some more graffiti i;ve seen (17/04/2011)

Bridge cross China town

Hunt st. Surry Hills

Graffiti, Sydney

graffiti, between castlereagh and Bathurst

I never really bothered to look up walking around the less crowded streets, was able to get this awesome Grafitti under the right light.

note: look up more often...

Hyde, Sydney

Walking around Hyde park is a perfect place to relax, saw quite a few photo worthy opportunities, there are always tourists(like me), performers, and children and old people walking around.

little girl calling her mother - at Hyde Park
I took this photo in black &white, I thought it was great capture of an image when the little girl calls for her mother, Its an image a mother could always look back to.

Old men playing XXL chess - at Hyde Park
XXL chess are extremely popular among the elderly people in Hyde park, head over during the morning and you'll definitely see some serious competition going on. I also took this image in black white a total classic of an image. (images taken 08/04/2011)

Half naked Fisher, Sydney

Pyrmont Park

The first thing I did when I first moved to Pyrmont, was some walking around my local area. If you ever wanted to do a bbq, picnic, jogging or even fishing; the Pyrmont park is definitely the place. There were others fishing by the board walk, but this one guy looked like the seasoned fisherman. (07/04/2011)

Bongo man, Sydney

At Market Street

I saw this Bongo player who was nice enough to let me take his photo, for some change. Very friendly guy, I was shy to ask to take his picture thinking he'd shoo me away like the couple of other street performers who did (probably weren't legally allowed to).
